Obituary of Mildred F. Hatt
Hatt, Mildred Francis (nee French)
Born November 9th, 1939; in Back Bay, NB. Mildred passed away peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, with family by her side. Mildred was a talented loving soul. She was loved and adored by her family and she touched many lives over the years with her gift of music. She and Bub sang and played their hearts out for the glory of the Lord for many years, until Alzheimers stole that from them.
We know for sure that they are reunited once again, singing and playing for the King of Kings. What a hope!
Mildred worked for years helping Bub aboard the boat, shelling scallops and whatever tasks were there to do. She also spent many summers working in the canteen on the market wharf in St. Andrews. Most of all, she was a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mildred was predeceased by her husband Mered P. Hatt and parents Thomas M. French and Gertrude B. Hanley and brothers – Melvin E. French, Boynton R. French, Valmond T. French, Glendon R. French, Clarence D. French, and Reginald C. French.
Mildred leaves behind three children; Phillip W. Hatt (Kathy), Thomas A. Hatt (Debbie), Heather Wilcox (Timmy), grandchildren – Anthony W. Hatt (Amanda), Amanda Hatt, (Scott), April Henry (Shawn), Matthew Hatt (Tiffany), Megan Greenier (Joe), Joel Wilcox (Lora), great grandchildren – Brandi, Tyler, Chloe, Spencer, Tyler, Dillon, Bradley, Peyton, Willow, Ivy, Adeline, Weston and Ellidy.
