I am so sad to learn of Kate’s passing, I have worked with Kate for the last 6 years, Kate’s energy, joy of life, reading, knowledge, her passion, her love, she was an amazing, dedicated young lady who I looked forward to seeing and working with every time I travelled to Campobello! Kate attended every youth retreat with the CNIB, I enjoyed every minute of spending quality time with her and her guide dog, every new thing Kate tried, she was always apprehensive at first but soon after some encouraging words and a helping hand she was all laughs! Kate really taught me more than I taught her! kate left such an imprint on my heart, as I’m sure she did to many other’s! Kate, you will be greatly missed by everyone around you, Gina, I am just a telephone call away! Sending so much love your way, I really wish I could be there during these incredibly hard times…
