I am so sorry that the world - and the island - are now without sweet Stephanie. I counted her a freind, one I always looked forward to seeing again when coming back to the island. We had good converstions in the Library and working together in the garden around the Library. the world is a poorer place without her. i I am grateful to have had the chance to get to know her - and I will miss her.

Stephanie Millbury was one of first people I ever met upon coming to Campobello in 2002. She and John were kind and welcoming to us. I wish I could be on Campobello to attend her celebration of life. My condolences to John and her entire family.

Dear John,
My heart is heavy for you. I was so sad when I heard of Stephanie’s passing - it’s far too soon for her to be gone. I will always look back warmly on the time I got to spend with her at the library. The gardens around the library were her beautiful, personal touch on a place with so much history. May the wildflowers continue to bloom in her honour for years to come. My sincere condolences.

Sting of internal salt in eye
Frown time...wistful goodbye
To Gulf of Maine and dulse sweet air,
Fog shrouds, heartbeat waves and herring gull cry.
Bones and ashes under the red pine,
Memories of life past and life passed...
And flashbacks in the minds eye of earlier times.
Youthful fun and foolishness long since faded
Into shadow and mists. So things go…and so do I.
Sincerest condolences on Stephanie’s passing. She was truly the “finest kind”.
