Obituary of Alice Johnson

JOHNSON ALICE  – At the Passamaquoddy Lodge  on Thursday, October 27^th, 2022; Alice (Gillis) Johnson wife of the late Ronald Lloyd Jonson formerly of  Waweig,NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB; she is the daughter  of the late Hazen & Florence Gillis (McCulloch)

    For many years Alice worked with her husband Ron,in their own family business as they  owned and ran service stations in St. Andrews.     Alice worked at the town office in St. Andrews for many years. She enjoyed time with her  family, walking, gardening, cross country skiing, and golfing. 

Alice is survived by her  son  Jeff (Mary Beth) of St. Andrews, NB, granddaughter Jessica Sommervilleand her husband  Zac Sommerville of Hampton, NB,  granddaughter Samantha Benson (Derrick Lee) of Whitehorse, grandson Tyler Benson and great grandson  Damien Lee, both  of Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, her twin brother Alison Gillis, nephews .

       Alice  was predeceased by her husband Ron, her  daughter Heather Benson,sister Myrtis Roach, brother Donnie Gillis,  brother  in law Raymond & his wife Eleanor McAleenan.

        By request of the family there will be no formal visitation. A private family graveside  service will take place at a later date in Bocabec Cemetery.
