Obituary of Vera Jane Newman
NEWMAN VERA J. – at the Charlotte County Hospital on Friday, September 2nd, 2022; Vera Jane ( Barker) Newman, wife of the late Roland Whitmore Newman. Married for 68 years. Born October 4, 1935, in Campobello, NB; she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Mildred (Searles) Barker.
She is survived by her son Roland Dale Newman, daughter Susan Guptill, grandchildren, Lisa Fitzgerald, Michelle Morgan, Robbie Newman, Mallory Surette, Michael Newman, great grandchildren Emma Fitzgerald, Brayden Newman, her several nieces and nephews
Vera was predeceased by brothers Larry and Harmon Barker.
Vera was a home maker, factory worker, but most importantly she cared for all her grandchildren.
By Vera’s request there will be no visitation. Cremation will take place followed by a private family memorial at a later date.
