Obituary of Frances A. Moffatt
MOFFATT FRANCES AUDREY - Frances A. Moffatt of St. Stephen, NB, passed away at the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton, NB, on Sunday, August 7th, 2022, at the age of 102 years. Frances is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Frances is a veteran of World War II and was stationed at #14 S.F.T.S. Training Centre at Aylmer, Ontario for one year. She was posted overseas and was attached to the R.C.A.F. Records Office in London, England from 1943 – 1945.
Frances commenced work at the Employment Insurance Commission in January 1946. At the time of her retirement in 1945 she was Officer in Charge of the U.I.C Local Office.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks St. St. Stephen, NB e3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110)
By request there will be no visitation. Friends will be welcomed to attend a graveside service at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, on Friday September 16, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
