Elizabeth and family, our sympathy to you as you mourn once again. Herb has many memories of interactions with both of your parents as he grew up in St.Stephen while I became acquainted with them forty years ago when I made St.Stephen my home. However, it was not until my retirement that I became better acquainted with your mom when I joined the hand quilters each week. By that time, she was not staying with us for the full afternoon as she was expected to be at your dad's side in Lincourt. She had an encouraging word as I learned to take each stitch in the special rocking motion so often used by hand quilters. - Lynda
For Betty, John and Thom, my sincere sympathy. Your Mum was so special to me and your Dad. All the years “at the store”, they taught me so much. When I remember fun times, they were at “ the store”. Even when I wasn’t working for them, they have remained part of my family. June and Jim were a big part of my life and I will miss them.
Betty,Tom,John sorry on the lost of your mom.We worked at the Charlotte mall for many years and your parents were very kind and
helped us adjust to living in St.Stephen when we arrived to run the Met,June and Jim were wonderful people Maeg and Larry Colborne.
Our sincere condolences on the passing of June. My wife and I were fortunate to be able to drive Jim and June on a number of Kiwanis Christmas light tours in St. Stephen. The first time we took them out, June asked if we minded using their vehicle because it would be easier for Jim. Of course I agreed. June asked for us the next couple of years. Even though Jim couldn't see well, June would describe where we were and Jim would let us know who lived there back when, and maybe even more recently. They were a delightful couple, and they enjoyed the get together after each tour when they got to socialize with old friend's .
Betty I'm so sorry to hear of your Moms passing. She was a lovely person and her loss will be felt by many. You and your family will be in my thoughts & prayers.
My condolences of the passing of your Mom. I knew your parents for many years, and loved to hear their stories of love, for their family. I sang in the Christ Church Choir with your Mom. She had a kind heart and welcome way about her. My condonlences.
so sorry to read about June's passing She was a lovely lady that always had a beautiful smile and friendly hello. I worked for your Mum and Dad when they opened the jewellery store. Our thoughts and prayers are going to you all at this sad and difficult time
