Victoria “Tori” Cunningham passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen. Born in Chicoutimi, Quebec, she is the daughter of the late Adam and Doris Cunningham.
Victoria made her home on Campobello Island where she was known as a gifted artist who appreciated everything beautiful the world had to offer. For a number of years, she owned and operated a craft shop and restaurant where she made many friends in the Island community and visitors far and wide.
Tori had an adventurous spirit, was blessed with a keen mind, travelled extensively, well-read, with a wide-ranging intellectual curiosity. She was a person of deep faith and a member of St. Anne’s Anglican Church. For the last number of years, Victoria has been a resident of Campobello Lodge. They family wishes to thank all those who extended care and support to Tori during her illness.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Fitzsimmons, son Gregory, daughter-in-law Rena, granddaughter Charlotte, her sister Crystal, brother Roderick, and niece Allison. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Graveside Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the North Road Baptist Cemetery in Welshpool, NB.
