Obituary of Marie B. Johnson

JOHNSON  MARIE  -  At the Charlotte County Hospital on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022; Marie Bernadine (McFarlane) Johnson; wife  of the late Paul Gray Johnson, of Rolling Dam, NB. Born in Elmsville, NB; she is the daughter of the late  Raymond & Roberta (Hall) McFarlane.

             Marie worked for   the tuna plant in Bayside  for many years as well as the former axe factory.

             Marie is survived by 3 daughters, Paulette Parker (Kenneth) of St. Stephen, NB, Julie Johnson Stokes (Melvin) of Milford, ME, Heidi  Johnson of Rolling Dam, NB, daughter in law May McAllister of St. Stephen, NB, 1 sister Debra McFarlane of St. Stephen, NB, 1 brother Cedric McFarlane (Judy) of Oak Bay, NB,  8 grandsons, Bradley, Luke, Kirk, Phillip, Ben, Joe, Adam, Brook, 2 granddaughters Rayna and Willow, 12 great grandchildren, Emilie and Jack, Kristen, Isaac, Hailee, Ellieanna, Gabriel,   Abalynn, London, Bentley,  Elias, Kamilla,  several nieces, nephews and cousins.

        Marie was predeceased by her son Winston and her siblings Lois Gallant, Cecil, Guilford, Bernard and  Darlyne Hastey.

     Friends are welcomed to attend a funeral service in celebration of her life to be held on Monday, June 6th at 2:00 pm, in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 - 3110. The interment will follow in Rolling Dam Cemetery.

      The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Monday from 1:00pm until service time.
