Obituary of David W. Baxter
BAXTER DAVID W. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 30th, 2022; David William Baxter of Little Ridge, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB; he is the son of the late Alvin & Hazel (Omar) Baxter.
David worked for a number of years with the Dept. of Transportation for the Province of NB, as a flagger. He did a little construction as well over the years.
He loved to sing, especially at any karaoke events or special music concerts going on around the community. David`s favorite song was Send Me the Pillow That You Dream On. David loved to be outdoors and would love to four wheel.
David was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 4 sisters, Violet Mallock, Ruby Cameron, Rowena McKeeman, & Velma Spearin, 3 brothers Albion, Robert & Earle.
By David`s request cremation will take place. There will be no visitation.
Friends are welcomed to attend a celebration of his life to be held on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB. Archdeacon John Matheson officiating. The interment will follow in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
