I am very sorry to hear of Eric’s passing. We became good friends while attending high school and spent many good hours fishing on McAdam Lake.

Terri and Family, I am so sorry for your loss! I will always remember Eric saying many times "I have a good life, no complaints and a perfect wife". I loved chating with Eric, always a pleasure! He always shared the best stories and advice without any need to sugarcoat anything. He will be missed by many.

Teri, we are so sorry to hear you lost Eric. He was a special person, and we appreciated his no nonsense, cut to the chase approach to life. Eric was one of the reasons we enjoyed our trips to St. Andrews so much, and he was the best fishing buddy I ever had. There are many memories we will always treasure from meals, cards, pool houses or beautiful campground ramps.
We truly admired how he was always focused on you and showing his love and caring for you in every way. We will always remember him fondly.

My first impression of my future brother-in-law, Eric, was that he and my sister, Teri, had a very simpatico relationship, and over the several decades that followed, that impression has not waned. It takes more than love to make a good partnership, and until the very end, they symbolized what “til death do us part” really means. Thank you, Eric, for taking such wonderful care of my sister. Thinking of you, Teri, and we will be there if you need us.

Hi Teri. I am so sorry to hear that you have lost Eric. Cancer is such an awful thing, and is painful for too many families. More than any other, my memory of Eric is the spirited conversations we participated in. He was much better read than most of us, but it was usually fun messing with each other.

In the short time I had an opportunity to sit and talk with Eric, I knew right away that he was a man of conviction, determination and tremendous courage and all the while completely aware of what was ahead and one thing was ultimately clear, his quest for peace of mind that Teri would be alright.

I just heard about Eric's death. I worked with him from 1979-90 and learned so incredibly much from him. There was so much more to him than at first glance. When I had my first book published in 2015, I sent him a copy and we made plans to get together whenever I visited the Maritimes. Unfortunately, that plan never came to pass. I know that his wife and two children will share in his great life legacy.

My family and I are saddened by Eric’s passing and will miss him. Eric was a kind and generous person who preferred to give anonymously. His presence was as well known as his wife’s delicious cooking and I am sure he will be missed in St.Andrews. Teri, I am sorry for your loss.

Terri and family. I was shocked to hear of Eric's passing. Of course I met him in St. Stephen where he often assured me that Terri's business was indeed hers and he had nothing to do with it. I enjoyed his contributions while he was a member of the St. Stephen Kiwanis Club, and when I encountered him in St. Andrews on my frequent trips there, he was always pleasant and outgoing. May he rest in peace.
