Terry and I were so Blessed to have become friends with Deb. She always had a smile and a good story to tell us when ever we got together. She always saw the goodness in everyone. She will be greatly miss by so many people. But she will forever be in Our hearts.

Aunt Deb, I was so happy when I had the chance to meet you on your visit to Ontario, you are one of a kind, soft beautiful soul that loved life and your family! I really wish I got the chance to visit you in N.B, our talks about sitting on lawn chairs, listening to music and watching the whales was one of my fondest memories, I’m sad we didn’t get the chance. You fought a courageous battle, now your resting in peace, until we meet again. Love your niece Crystal. XO

Feel so blessed to have had Debbie in my life. Jamie and I were blessed to have you for our next door neighbor for awhile. Will miss all of our chats. She made time for the things that were important in life… her family, friends & passing on a smile, a hug or a kind word to whom was placed within her path. Enjoyed when you ran the cafeteria & I would get to see you with the students. May God touch each person’s heart in just the way they need, as you process her loss. So grateful to our Lord & King, because I know we will be together again someday. Until then… I know you will be enjoying all Heaven holds. ❤️

Cousin Deb… You will always be remembered for your big heart and generous spirit and there will be a void in the lives of all you touched. I’ll miss your hugs and conversations most of all. One thing I know is that you are free from all pain and sorrow and waiting expectantly for your friends and family to join you.
♥️
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship You
I can only imagine, yeah
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in your presence
Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine, yeah
I can only imagine

Out whale watching with my dear sister.
This is one of my favourite times spent with Deb.
She loved her whales and was so full of knowledge about them.
I loved hearing her stories of her times on the water whale watching.
Swim with the whales, soar with the angels
Until we meet again
All of my love Always

I had the privilege growing up with Debbie on Campobello Island and she radiated with a beautiful smile and I loved to hear her laugh. She was one of my bridesmaids when I married and she graciously loaned me her wedding veil when I couldn’t find one I liked. She certainly had a persevering spirit and will be missed by so many. The best part is I will see her again and What A Day That Will Be!

Treated me like part of the family from the first time I met her.. A lovely lady who would do anything for anyone.. The world has lost a big ray of sunshine but we can take comfort in the fact that she goes on through her four great kids, who are all incredible people... Much love to you all and to Debbie, Godspeed sweet lady.. Until we see you again.

I got to know Deb best while I worked at the school cafeteria for a class credit during my senior year. I think I told her everything that crossed my teenage brain in those 5 months. I had needed a parent to talk to and she became that for me. I will always love her for it; there were a lot of things I was struggling with personally and she was always there with a kind uplifting word, or a hug to see me through them. Even after the course I would still drop by to talk regularly. She was a very rare sort of person, an absolute gem.
