Obituary of Everett White
WHITE, EVERETT - Passed away on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at the Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrews, NB at the age of 95. Husband of the late Avis (Greenlaw) White of St. Stephen,
Born April 8, 1926 in Chamcook, NB.
Everett was a longtime member of the Knights of Pythias and the Anglican Parish of St. Andrews.
He worked many different jobs in his younger years but most of his working career was spent at the Dept of Transportation on the chip seal crew and driving snow plow.
He enjoyed flounder fishing, clamming, hunting, gardening and travelling in his motor home with his wife Avis. He loved meeting new people and talked to everyone he met. He rarely went anywhere in the province and beyond that he didn’t see someone he knew.
Everett is survived 3 sons, Owen (Doreen) of Fredericton, NB, Benny (Nancy) of St. Stephen, NB, Clayton of San Francisco, daughter in law Shelley White of St. Stephen, NB,
many grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Everett was predeceased by his wife Avis, daughter Wanda, son Steven, his parents and all of his siblings.
By Everett`s wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 1st, 2021 at 12:00 noon at St. John the Baptist Chapel of Ease Cemetery in Chamcook, NB.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or St. John the Baptist Chapel Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. On line condolences to the family can be placed at www.humphreysfh.com
