Poirier - Melanson, Evelyn; At the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 29, 2021. Evelyn (Lindsay) Poirier - Melanson; wife of Albert (Bert) Melanson of Lower Greenwich,NB. Born in Central Greenwich (Jones Creek) she was the daughter of the late Charles and Daisy (Dunham) Lindsay. Evelyn was a member of the Anglican Church. Evelyn was mostly a homemaker and loved housekeeping. Her passions were bingo, darts, 4wheeling and snowmobiling with her friends.Evelyn loved spending time at their camp at Round Lake and fishing in the rain, under an umbrella while in a motorboat. Many thanks to her Carleton Kirk Nursing Home Family for the past 6 years and for the special care provided by doctors,nurses and staff of 3B North of the Saint John Regional Hospital. Past employment; Saint John Cold Storage, (Canada Packers), Sobeys, Bathurst Consolidated, Red Cross Homemaker.
Surviving in addition to her husband Bert are her step son Kevin Melanson(Jessica) Fredericton, Daughters Debra Wills. Calgary, Wandlyn (Kenny) Munn, Lower Greenwich, special granddughter Cheryl Humble Chilliwack, BC, siblings, Sandra Northrop (Ronald) Oak Point.

By Evelyns request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service at this time. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
