Obituary of Geraldine Carter
Carter Marie Geraldine - Peacefully passed at the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday June 14th ,2021; Born on July 29th 1941 in Jacquet River NB; She is the daughter of the late Joseph & Marie (Daigle) Pitre. She was predeceased by one Sister Veleda Bartlett and the love of her life Allen Neilson.
Geraldine is survived by two daughters Pauline Barter (Joe) of St. Stephen and Jeanette Stevenson (Wayne) of Saint John, two sisters Rita Hachey (Dorien) Georgette Gibson (Ralph) four grandchildren Julie Watson (Jay) Keith Stevenson (Jill) Elisha Boulanger (Ryan) Dustin Eldridge (Angela) ten great - grandchildren who will always remember as Other Nana....Caleb, Mackenzie,Jaden, Ayvaeh, Rylee-mae, Ayvree, Emma, Emilie, Jack and Elliot, Goddaughter - Amy Wesenberg, Best Friend - Mary Carney, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was loved and will be missed by many.
By Geraldines request cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 17 th at 1:00 pm at The St. Stephen Royal Canadian Legion Queen St St. Stephen. Rev Dan Jamer officiating.
Due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic prescreening protocols will be in place. Masks will be mandatory.Those feeling anxious vulnerable or unwell are encouraged not to attend.
