Obituary of Leo R. Alexander
ALEXANDER, LEO R. – Passed away peacefully at the Lincourt Manor, in St. Stephen, NB on Saturday, May 29th, 2021; Leo Robert Alexander, husband of Geraldine ( Omar) Alexander of Pomeroy Ridge, NB. Born in St. Stephen, he is the son of the late Frank and Madeline (Goodine) Alexander and foster son of the late Henry & Ruth (Anderson) Matheson.
Leo was a hardworking man since he was 15 years old working as a logger. Working in the logging industry was his life’s passion. He thoroughly also loved being outdoors to enjoy hunting.
Surviving in addition to his wife Geraldine are his 3 sons Anthony (Tony) Alexander of Black’s Harbour, NB, Wade (Stacey) of Moncton, NB, Brad of Harvey, 3 grand - children, Krey of Moncton, Brayden of Lawrence Station, and Maisie of Harvey,
one brother Francis of Oak Hill, and one sister Phyllis Bartlett of St. Stephen, several nieces and nephews.
Leo was predeceased by one brother Gene and one sister Mary.
Cremation will take place. A celebration Leo’s life will be held on Saturday, July 10th from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110). The interment will follow in Pomeroy Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society , Charlotte County Cancer Society or charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
