Obituary of Ellen Hanley

HANLEY ELLEN - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, September 11th, 2016; Brenda "Ellen" (Faloon) Hanley, wife of Maynard Hanley of Back Bay, NB. Born in Upper L'Etang, NB; she is the daughter of the late Henry & Kathleen(O’Brien) Faloon Ellen worked many jobs through out her life. A few being, Back Bay Post office, NB Salmon Growers and for approximately 15 years as the secretary for Sea View Full Gospel Church in Back Bay, NB. She was also the proprietor of her own accounting firm of Bay Bookkeeping. Ellen loved spending time with her family and friends. Nothing brought her any more pleasure than cooking and entertaining for them all. Surviving addition to her husband Maynard are her daughter Maureen Smith (Terry) of Back Bay, NB, 2 sons, Jody Hanley (Penny) of Bonnie River, NB and Roddie Hanley (Ronda) of Saint John, NB, her sister Kaye Johnson (Vic) of Ontario, 4 grandchildren Shane, Lindsay, Madeline, and Cassandra, 4 great grandchildren Connor, Cole, Charlotte, and Evelyn. And 2 every special friend Gord & Joyce James. Ellen was predeceased by her brother Hugh, and 5 sisters Leah, Evelyn, Doris, Helena and Bea. By Ellens’ request there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
