Obituary of Veleda Marie Bartlett

BARTLETT VELEDA M. - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, June 14th, 2015; Veleda Marie (Pitre) Bartlett , wife of the late Wallace Bartlett of Waweig, NB. Born in Jacquet River, NB she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Marie Cecile (Daigle) Pitre. Upon losing her husband at an early age, Veleda was a strong willed, young dedicated mother to raise 3 sons entirely on her own. Veleda is survived by her 3 sons, Larry (Cathy) of Barrie, ON, Danny (Nancy) of St. Andrews, NB, Stephen (Sandy) of Calgary, AB, 4 grandchildren Jordan (Susan), Nicholas (Stephanie), Meghan & Connor, 1 great granddaughter Chloe, her companion Roger Russell of Waweig, NB, 3 sisters Geraldine of St Stephen, NB, Rita (Dorien) of Waweig, NB and Georgette of Chamcook, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the family will received friends during a time of visitation on Wednesday from 7 – 9 pm. A memorial mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 18th, 2015 at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, union Street St Stephen, NB. The interment will follow in St Stephen Rural Cemetery followed by a reception at Holy Rosary Parish Hall. Donations to the Charlotte Co.
