Obituary of Beatrice E. Parks
PARKS, BEATRICE - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday December 8th, 2014; Beatrice Adams Parks; wife of the late Charles “Chink” Parks of Stephen, NB. Born in McAdam, NB she is the daughter of the late Charles (Ben) Adams & Mabel Ellen Adams. Beatrice is survived by her children Alfred Adams (Nicholle Rideout)of Grand Manan,NB, Randall Adams of St. Stephen, daughter Juanita Parks of St. Stephen, adopted daughter Marguerite MacCombie of St. Stephen, grandchildren Chad Adams, Brandon Adams, Martina Rideout, brothers Floyd of Black’s Harbour, Arthur & Charles both of St. Stephen, sisters, Lillian Greenlaw of St. Andrews, Mabel Parks of Upper Mills, Sylvia Day of Charlotte Maine, several cousins nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Blanche Purdy, Bessie Bradford, Judy Smith,and Diana Jordan, a brother Richard C. Adams. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2014 at 11:00 am. Archdeacon John Matheson will officiate. A reception will follow in the Humphreys Reception Centre. The interment will take place in the spring at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery.
