Obituary of Eleanor Ruth Fletcher

FLETCHER ELEANOR R.- Eleanor Ruth (Kilby) Fletcher, wife of the late Wathen Fletcher,passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at the Campobello Lodge,on Thursday,October 8th,2014. Born in Calais, Maine; she is the daughter of the late Allen & Blanche (Morrison) Kilby. Eleanor was lovingly raised on Campobello by her Mom & Dad the late Milton & Mary (Hooper) Newman. A homemaker,devoted mother,grandmother and great grandmother. Eleanor was predeceased by her brothers Allen & William Kilby,sisters Rose Marie Carmazzi and Carolyn Rose, her daughter Genevieve Blanche and granddaughter Diedra Fletcher. Eleanor is survived by her children, D. Craig Fletcher (Darlene)of Lubec,Maine,Corliss (Larry) Calder, Willa (John) Smart, Melody (John)Flynn, all of Campobello, her grandchildren, J.D.(Shayna) Smart, Gerald (Kelley) Watson, Justin Wright, Brandi(Stacey) Watson, Jordon (Heather) Wright, Ernest Smart, Angela (Bruce)Smart, Jeremy Wright, 9 great grandchildren, Bryanna, Reece,& Addyson & Ava Smart, Jessica & Quinton Watson, Lexus Wright, Leah Wright & Kenzi Wright, and a very special friend Richard Leslie, many nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place followed by a graveside service at Wilsons Beach Cemetery,Head Harbour Road on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Randy Harris officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the Campobello Lodge Residents Council Fund would be appreciated by the family.
