Obituary of Rhoda W. Zwicker

ZWICKER RHODA W. – at her residence at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB, on Thursday, April 17th, 2014; at the age of 101 years, Rhoda Whilameina (Griffin) Zwicker, wife of the late Ashley Zwicker. Born on Wood Island, Grand Manan, NB she is the daughter of the late Frank & Linnie (Wilcox) Griffin. Rhoda was a longtime faithful member of the Weslyean Church. Rhoda is survived by her daughter Ruby Bradford of Pennfield, NB, son Albert (Carole) of Orleans, Ont, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Rhoda was predeceased by a daughter Ella (Zwicker) Flagg, son Glen, 6 sisters Ora, Cordelia, Nordica, Stella, Gladys and Helena, 2 brothers Sherman, and Leeman. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Monday April, 21st, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bruce Cheney officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home reception centre. The interment will take place at a later date in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Saturday & Sunday from 2- 4 & 7- 9 pm.
