Obituary of Herman Raye Brown
BROWN,HERMAN R.- passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, February 12th, 2014; with his family by his side; Herman Raye Brown, is the husband of Twylla (Matthews) Brown of Wilson’s Beach,Campobello,NB. Born in Lubec Maine,USA he is the son of the late Adelbert Prosser & Emily Jane (Anthony) Brown. Surviving in addition to his wife Twylla are his 4 daughters, Brenda, Barbie, Bethany and BettiJo, one stepdaughter Nadine, 11 grandchildren Meghan, Justin, Stephanie, Mikayla, Katie Beth, Nakita, Jeremy, Garrett, Kaden, Kiana and Rianna,1 great granddaughter Eden,all of whom he loved dearly. Herman is also survived by his sister Marie Smith of St. Andrews,NB,and several nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as a “quiet private man”, with a cheerful disposition, who never had an unkind word for anyone and who always was ready and willing to give a helping hand to those in need, putting everyone else before himself. Prior to being the Administrator at the Campobello Lodge, Herman worked in the fishing industry for many years and most recently at the Roosevelt Park. In honour of Hermans’ personal wishes, a private family interment will take place at a later date. To honour his desire to help others, a tribute to Herman would be for you to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In lieu of flowers donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or Wilson’s Beach Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
