Obituary of M. Norval Dyer

DYER M. NORVAL - At the Charlotte County Hospital, on Monday, January 27th, 2014; Millidge Norval Dyer, husband of 73 years of Dorothy (Gowan) Dyer of St Stephen, NB formerly of Elmsville, NB. Born in Oak Bay, NB he is the son of the late Willard & Allyne (Hill) Dyer. He was a member of the Orange Lodge and an avid volunteer of Elmsville Christ Church. Surviving in addition to his wife Dorothy are his son Phillip (Sandra) of Port Williams, NS, daughter Ann Grant of Fredericton, NB, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 sister Muriel Carson of St. Andrews, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Norval was predeceased by 1 brother James and 1 sister Elizabeth Holiday. By Norvals’ request there will be no visitation, however friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service in celebration of his life to be held on Friday January, 31st, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB, E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110). Canon John Matheson will officiate. The interment will take place in the spring in Christ Church Cemetery, Elmsville, NB. In lieu of flowers donations to the Elmsville Christ Church or charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
