Obituary of Evelyn Bernice Sellars
SELLARS EVELYN B. - At the Charlotte County Hospital, on Sunday, October 6th, 2013; Evelyn Bernice (Bateman)Sellars, wife of the late Mickey Sellars of St Stephen, NB. Born in St. Stephen she is the daughter of the late Chester & Jenn(MacNaughton) Bateman. Evelyn was a graduate of the Moncton City Hospital and for 35 years was a nurse at the Calais Regional Hospital.She was an avid camper spending most other summers at Sunrise Shores and Hilltop Campgrounds with her friends. After their retirement she and her husband liked to travel all along the coastal states. She is survived by her daughter Kim Ripley of St Stephen, NB, sister Jackie Bateman of St Stephen, NB, 1 granddaughter Nicki Lemay (Alex) and 1 great grandson Xander, several nieces ,nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Geraldine Brewer. By Evelyn’s request there will be no visitation, however friends are welcome to attend a memorial graveside service to be held on Friday, October 11th, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, with Canon John Matheson officiating. A reception will follow at Kirk McColl United Church Hall. In lieu of flowers donations to the St Stephen Rural Cemetery Fund or the Family Resource Centre St Stephen would be appreciated by the family.
