Obituary of Rosamond Louise McKay
McKAY ROSAMOND L. At the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, August 15th, 2013; Rosamond “Rose” Louise (Haines) McKay, wife of Colin McKay of Pennfield, NB. Born in Morristown,NS; she is the daughter of the late Russell Alfred & Muriel Blanche (Tupper) Haines. Rose was a member of Christ Church Anglican Church in Pennfield, NB for many years. Surviving in addition to her husband Colin are her brothers Edmund Haines & the late Claire Haines of Pennfield, NB,Clinton C. Haines(Leona),Stanley L.Haines(Kathleen) all of NS,nieces & husbands,Arden & Diane(Haines) Robar of Farmington, NS, Carl & Donna(Haines)Varner of Halifax,NS,Pierre & Rosemund (Haines) of Ottawa, Ont,Kim Haines of Ottawa,Lester McKay(Millie) of Pennfield,NB and special friends Claire & Sylvain Levesque of Pennfield,NB,Jimmy & Krista Peters of St Stephen, NB, many many special people who have been blessed to know her. Resting at Christ Church Anglican Church, Pennfield, NB from where the service will be held on Monday August 19th, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Keith Osbourne officiating. The interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Monday from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Romero House Soup Kitchen Saint John and the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
