Obituary of Ruth Jareldine Bryanton
BRYANTON RUTH J. … At the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, May 22, 2013; Ruth Jareldine (Sherman) Bryanton, wife of the late Elmer Bryanton of Heathland, NB. Born in McAdam, NB she is the daughter of the late Howard & Blanche (Gibson) Sherman. Ruth worked for many years with the Cotton Mill in St Stephen until its closure in the mid 1950’s. She then went on to work with the former sardine factory in Bayside, NB. She spent most of her early years in the St Stephen area and was a member of Gateway Cathedral for almost 50 years, actively involved in many church activities such as the Ladies Missionary Society. Ruth also was involved with the United Pentecostal Church in McAdam. She is survived by her sister, Wanda Bockus (Ray) of Bedford, Quebec, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by 4 sisters Pauline, Jean, Charlotte & Mary and 4 brothers Charles, Enedy, Skif & Ruthey. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Saturday May, 25th, 2013 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the Humphreys Community Room & Reception Centre. The interment will follow in Rockland Cemetery , McAdam, NB. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Friday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ladies Missionary Society of Gateway Cathedral would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
