Obituary of Pauline E. Boyd
BOYD PAULINE ELIZABETH … With great sadness, the family of Pauline Boyd announce her passing on Saturday May 7th, 2016 at the Charlotte County Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Pauline was born on August 2, 1933 in Old Ridge, NB. She was the daughter of the late Melbourne & Bessie (Mitchell) Reynolds. Pauline graduated from St. Stephen High School and the Charlotte County Hospital School of Nursing. For three years, she nursed at the Charlotte County Hospital before getting married and raising her family. She taught Sunday school at All Saints Anglican Church when her children were young and was a long - time member of the Anglican Church and Anglican Church Women. Over the years, Pauline enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great … grandchildren at numerous family get … togethers at home and relatives in St. Stephen, Saint John, Moncton and Fall River, NS, and adventures to Victoria/Nanaimo, B.C., Florida and Bermuda. Pauline is survived by her loving children Patricia (Karl) Deering of St. Andrews, NB, Joan (Jeffrey) Ross of Nanaimo, B.C., Scott (Carla) of St. George, N.B., Heather (Geoffrey) Millen of Fall River, N.S., Bruce (Jillian) of Fredericton, N.B., and step - daughter Lynda (Kalvin) Bradford of Hideway, Texas. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren Christina, Taryn, Andrew, Erica, Danielle, Michael, Leah, Hannah, Jacob, Kyle, Ryan , Alyssa, Sarah, and Madison, step granddaughter Bonnie, 13 great grandchildren, brother William (Hazel Marie) Reynolds, sisters Jean Reynolds, Marion (Colin Fisher), Ruth (Richard) Maxwell, brother … in … law Eric McCartney, sister … in … law Esther Boyd and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband Hazen , sisters Marjorie and Christine, sisters … in … law Doris and Alice, and brother - in … law Clifton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB (506 … 466 … 3110). Visiting hours will take place on May 12th, 2016 from 6:00 … 8:00 pm only at All Saints Anglican Church and a service to celebrate Pauline’s life will occur on Friday May 13th at 2:00 pm under Archdeacon John Matheson. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Pauline’s memory can be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation All Saints Anglican Church or Hospice of Charlotte, would be appreciated by the family.
