Obituary of Eloise C. Matthews

MATTHEWS, ELOISE C. – Unexpectedly passed at her residence in Wilson’s Beach, Campobello, NB, on Sunday, April 14th, 2013; Eloise Carmen Matthews, wife of Harvey Leroy Matthews. Born in Campobello, NB she is the daughter of the late Abraham & Margaret(Goodeill) Matthews. For many years Eloise worked with the Sardine Factory as well as Johnny Malloch’s Salmon Farm. Surviving in addition to her husband Harvey is her son Harvey(Amanda),her grandchildren,Aidan & Chloe,all of Campobello,2 brothers Harley and Glen(Patsy)all of Campobello,NB, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Eloise is predeceased by 3 sisters Edna Buchannan, Lorena Mitchell and Elva Jane Matthews, also by her nephew Dana Mitchell. By Eloise’s request there will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest in Wilson’s Beach Cemetery, Head Harbour Road, Campobello,NB, on Wednesday, April,17th, 2013 with graveside service to begin at 2:00 pm.
