Obituary of Stuart J. Burbine
BURBINE STUART J. … At the Passamaquoddy Lodge on Sunday, May 1st, 2016; Stuart Joseph Burbine, husband of Charlotte (Hartling) Burbine of St. Andrews, NB. Born in River Herbert, NS, he is the son of the late Arthur & Delma (Arseneau) Burbine. Stuart served his country with the Canadian Air Force. He also volunteered his time with the Air Cadets for 12 years. And was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. After retiring from the Air Force, he became a teacher and taught Physical Education for 34 years. Surviving in addition to his wife Charlotte are his children, Stephen (Sue) of St. Andrews, NB, Valerie Simon (Patrick) of Timmons, ON and Mark (Laurie) of Larette, Manitoba, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a sister Lorna (Jim) of Halifax, NS, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Stuart was predeceased by two brothers Fred & Bill. By Stuarts’ request there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish to donate in Stuarts memory, to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
