Obituary of Dorothy R. Finnie
FINNIE DOROTHY - At the Charlotte County Hospital on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 ; Dorothy R. (Greenier) Finnie of Old Ridge, NB, wife of the late Cecil Murray Finnie. Born in Drummondville, NB she is the daughter of the late James & Prudence (O’Hagan) Greenier. For many years Dorothy worked at Charlotte County Hospital in the Dietary Dept working with special dietary needs. She is survived by her children Gary Finnie (Catherine) of Nackawick, NB, Eric Finnie of Thunder Bay , Ontario, Sally Black(Dale) of Rollingdam, NB, Allison Finnie and Perry Finnie(Angie) all of Old Ridge, NB, 2 sisters Betty Curran of Upper Mills, NB and Jane Greenier of Old Ridge, NB, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, several nieces ,nephews and cousins. Dorothy was predeceased her daughter Linda Joy McVay Finnie. By Dorothys’ request cremation will take place . A memorial service in remembrance of her life will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Old Ridge, NB on Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
