Obituary of Robert Stewart
Stewart, Robert 'Bob': The death of Robert 'Bob' Stewart occurred unexpectedly on April 27, 2016. Born in St. Stephen, NB and brought up by his grand-parents, the late Jerome & Olive Stewart of St. Stephen. A resident of St. Stephen, all of his life Bob worked as a heavy duty mechanic with Milltown Trucking for approximately 8 years. He was a member of the NB Blueberry Growers Association for the past 20 years. Bob is survived by his wife Brenda (Carter) Stewart, his Mother Marie Smith (Jerry Hanson) of St Stephen. 1 daughter, Miranda Bell, 3 grand-children, Madison, Tamara and Carter Bell. 3 sisters, Helena Stewart, Louise Jackson and Heather (Glen) Gregory all of St. Stephen and 4 brothers, Douglas (Teresa) Stewart, Daniel (Lisa) Stewart of Tower Hill, Glendon (Tammy) Stewart of St. Stephen and Dennis (Collette) Smith of Grande Prairie, AB. Pre-deceased by his grandparents, Jerome and Olive Stewart, 1 brother Vincent, 1 sister Glenna Stewart, 1 daughter Tamara McCray, 2 nephews Alan Stewart and James Jackson and 1 great nephew, Jerome Beliwicz. There will be a visitation at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB (506 … 466 … 3110) on Sunday from 7 to 9 only. The funeral service for Bob will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday May 2nd, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Dr. Mark Hatfield will officiate. The interment will follow in Moore’s Mills Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to a charity of the donors’ choice.
