Mint was fortunate to work beside Edward in the Wilson's Beach Post Office serving up mail as well as smiles and friendly conversation for 42 years. Their love of children made them both an integral part of families on the Island as babies were so often passed across the counter and held and loved. Old summer fish fairs were a busy, happy time with people lined up at the barber shop for corn on the cob and her famous doughnuts. She was a member of the St. Andrews United Baptist Church and will be remembered for her beautiful quilts and her exceptional cooking. She loved to shop and garden, cook and spend time with her family. Edward's family thought of her and she thought of them as her own and appreciated their frequent visits. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends, as well as the staff at Passamaquoddy Lodge where she received loving care over the past three years.
