Obituary of Gwendoline Eleanor Shannon

SHANNON GWENDOLINE E. at her residence in Wilson’s Beach, NB on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012; Gwendoline Eleanor ( Farmer) Shannon, of St Stephen, NB; wife of the late Ralph Thomas Shannon. Born in Great Britain she is the daughter of the late James & Amy (Clark) Farmer. Gwen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in St. Stephen, NB for many years. She is survived by her children Bren Jones (Elizabeth) of Bathurst, NB, Michael Shannon( Shirley) of St. Stephen, NB, Ann Shannon-Maubert (Dominique) of Fredericton, NB; Maureen Mallock (Howard) of Campobello, Theresa Passamane(John) and Paddy Huizinga of St Stephen, NB, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gwen was predeceased by her first husband Brynmor Jones and her second husband Ralph Shannon, one brother Walter and two sisters Marjorie & Myra. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110) from where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at 1:00 pm. The interment will follow in Milltown Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Friday evening only from 7 – 9 pm.
