Obituary of Edna J. Shannon

SHANNON EDNA J. - Unexpectedly at the Charlotte County Hospital on Friday, March 11th, 2016; Edna Jane ( Grant ) Shannon, wife of James Shannon of St Stephen, NB. Born in Dow Settlement, NB, she was the daughter of the late Bruce & Lucy (Johnson) Grant. Surviving in addition to her husband Jim are her children, Gary, Judith, Sharon(Greg),Sarah(Philip Kinney), Terry(Les Snow) and Lisa(George), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren,sisters in law Dale Grant, Elaine Grant,and brother in law Ludger O'Brien, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Edna was predeceased by her grandson Brian, 4 sisters Agnes, Helen Bransfield, Audrey Atkinson, Barbara O'Brien, brothers Ronald, Melvin, Richard. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St Stephen, NB from where the service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, March 16th, 2016 at 10:00 am. Rev. Fr. Paul Doucet will officiate.The interment will take place at a later date at St. Gabriel`s Parish Cemetery in Jaquet River, NB. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Monday evening only from 6 … 8 pm.
