KENNEDY GARY B. … At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, July 15th, 2019; Gary Burton Kennedy, husband of Patricia (Gregson) Kennedy, formerly of Oak Bay, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB, he is the son of the late Burton & Pauline (Johnson) Kennedy. Gary served with the Canadian Armed forces from 1959 … 1969, jumpmaster with the airborne division. Upon leaving the service he worked with Haley Lumber Co.until it closed. Gary had numerous jobs after some of which included working on the Ocean Ranger Oil Rig and also worked on many rigs for Out West Oil Co. Gary started a hatchery in Oak Bay and worked with salmon for many years. He had other jobs in between as well. Gary retired from Charlotte County school system as a bus driver which he truly loved. Gary was a dedicated member of the Luxor Shriners for many years. Gary is survived by his loving wife Patricia, 3 sons, Dannny (Patty) of Tower Hill NB, Robert (June) of Mayfield, NB, Timothy (Danielle) of Oak Bay NB, 1 stepdaughter Dorothy (Larry) of ON, granddaughters Tina (Chris) Young, Jessica (Dennis) Weeks, Step granddaughter Grace (Paul) McDuffe. Grandsons Justin (Sara) Kennedy,Ryan (Nicole) Kennedy, Josh Comeau, Brian (Chantale) Kennedy,Gregory Kennedy.––––––––––––––––––––––––––. Great grandsons Christian and Sawyer Weeks, Lucas Kennedy, step great granddaughters Jillian and Abbie McDuffe. Also his loyal dog Tuck. One sister Pamela (Wesley) McGarrigle of Milltown, NB, sister-in-law Bernadette Whitehead of Ont and brother-in-law Ted Gregson of Alberta, several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary was predeceased by his son Shawn and father-in-law Bernard, mother-in-law Lillian Gregson. By Garys’ request there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation will take place. For those who wish and in memory of Gary donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Charlotte County Hospital Palliative Care, Lonicera Hall or Passamaquoddy Lodge would be greatly appreciated by the family.
