Obituary of Myrtle Elizabeth Smith
It is with sadness to announce the passing of Myrtle Smith of Toronto, ON, on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the residence of her daughter, Ann Theriault, McAdam, NB. She was born on May 9, 1937 in Elliston, NL daughter of the late Albert and Adeline (Crewe) Baker. Myrtle was a lady who was a true giver. Her smiling face was the first trait everyone would remember. Myrtle was loving and kind in all her ways and loved so well by many. God took her home; it was his will, but in our hearts she liveth still. She is survived by three daughters, Ann Theriault of McAdam, Rose Smith and Tammy Smith of Toronto, ON, three sons, William Smith (Robin Dolby) and Frenchy Smith of Toronto, ON, Douglas Smith (Elmira) of Oakville, ON, fourteen grandchildren, Julie Glaspy, Nicholas Theriault, Kimberly Smith-Glover, Ashley Smith-Glover, Jessica Smith-Glover, Tabatha Smith, Shannon Sikkes, Samantha Smith, Jennifer Smith-Lombardi, John Paul Smith, Dylan Smith, Rachel Bourgeois, Brynn Burley Smith and Rhiannon Burley Smith, several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Geraldine Nippard, Phyllis Baker, brothers, Harold, Douglas, Stewart, Lewis, Barry, and Basil Baker, and granddaughter, Krystina Smith. A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at McAdam Fellowship, 13 Oak Street, McAdam, NB.
