Obituary of Marion F. Johnson

JOHNSON MARION F. At the Charlotte County Hospital on Monday, April 8th, 2019; Marion Frances (Mowatt) Johnson, wife of the late Floyd Johnson Sr. of Bayside, NB. Born in St. Stephen, NB; she is the daughter of the late Frederick & Edna (Campbell) Mowatt. Marion was a longtime member of All Saints Anglican Church in St. Andrews. She served in many capacities over the years. She continued to live on in her home in Bayside even after her husband Floyd passed away almost ten years ago. Marion is survived by her son Skip (Karen) of Oak Bay, NB, her three daughters Anne McDonald (Jonathon Steeves) and Rosemary Johnson (Roy McLaggan) all of Fredericton, NB and Elaine Porter (Donald) of Doaktown, NB, 8 grandchildren Michelle (Josh Orr), Devon, Amanda, Michael, Katie, Ryan, Andrea and Hannah, 6 great grandchildren, Brynn, Laurynn, Cameron, Nolan, Reina and Emery, 1 sister Alice DeLong of Saint John, NB, 2 brothers John Mowatt of Tower Hill, NB, and Frederick Jr “Teddy” of Oak Bay, NB, several nieces nephews and cousins. By Marions request cremation will take place. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street St. Stephen, NB. Archdeacon John Matheson officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home reception centre. The interment will take place at Oak Bay Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
