Obituary of Alan C. Moffatt
MOFFATT ALAN C. – On Saturday, April 6th, 2019; Alan Cary Moffatt; loving husband of Joan Ella (Nieman) Moffatt of Bocabec, NB unexpectedly passed away. Born in St. Stephen, NB he grew up giving his mother Evelyn (Thompson) McAllen of Milltown, N.B. many grey hairs. His father was the late Harold Moffatt from Milltown, N.B. Alan retired as a Staff Sergeant from the R.C.M.P after 28 years plus a day. He spent the winters curling at the St.Stephen Curling Club and spent a number of lovely summer days out on the St.Stephen Golf Course or swimming in Kerr’s Lake. Surviving in addition to his beautiful wife Joan are his son James Moffatt (Karee) and daughter Tracey Woodward (Edward) all living in the much warmer Edmonton, AB. Cooper, Kadie and Kaden are his much loved grandchildren, he had 3 glorious sisters Gloria Pike (Kenny) of Riverview, NB, Susan Park (Ryan) of Spruce Grove, AB, and Carol Miller (Danny) of Grand Manan, NB, his Aunt Frances Moffatt of St. Stephen and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alan was predeceased by his father, mother and his granddaughter Brenna Woodward. A celebration of Alan's life will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at Humphreys Funeral Home from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. In Alan’s memory donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
