Obituary of Katherine Ola Sears
Kay Sears of Burnt Hill, NB, widow of Robert “Bob” Sears passed away August 28, 2018 at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB. She was born in St. Stephen, daughter of the late Preston and Mary (Price) Carver. Kay was a Scouts Canada Leader for 30 years and volunteered many years with Dial-a-Ride. She loved to cook, watch Family Feud and cheering on her Red Sox. She is survived by her son, Robert “Skeeter” Sears (Carly) of St. Stephen, step-sons, Brian Sears (Debbie) of St. Stephen, Wayne Sears (Nina) of Blacks Harbour, step-daughters, Roxanne Duplisea (Hugh) of Fredericton, Cheryl Sears of Ontario, grandchildren, Reanna, Isolabella and Bobby, several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two step-sons Robert and Roderick Sears. Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of fellowship Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 2-6 pm at St. Croix Branch No. 9, Royal Canadian Legion, 43 Queen St. W, St. Stephen, NB.
