Obituary of Eldon Everett Wilson
At the Ridgewood Veterans Wing in Saint John, NB on Sunday, July 8th, 2018; Eldon Everett Wilson, husband of Vesta (Cooke) Wilson of Crocker Hill, NB. He was born in Seal Cove, NB. For almost 32 years Eldon was a dedicated employee, working with McBrides in St. Stephen, NB. In his early days he worked for the railroad. A veteran of World War II, Eldon served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Surviving in addition to his wife Vesta are his children Doug (Christine) of Windsor, ON, Patricia Wilson of Quispamsis, NB, step children Debra Fertnig (Claude) of St. George, NB, Brian Cook of L’Etang, NB, grandchildren Dorion, Amy, Matthew, Thane, Braden, Tanya, Cory, Amanda and Chris, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Eldon was predeceased by his first wife Vera and his sister Florence. A graveside service and a tribute to a veteran will be held on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery conducted by Rev. Carlos Concepcion. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by his family.
