McFARLANE RALPH J. … At the Ridgewood Veterans Wing in Saint John, NB; Ralph Joynes McFarlane, husband of Ruby ( Pearley) McFarlane formerly of Elmsville, NB. Born in Saint John, he is the son of the late William H. & Jennie (McKinley) McFarlane. A veteran of World War ll Ralph served in infantry with the Canadian Armed Forces.His tours of duty took him throughout France & Britain. Upon returning home from the war he worked for many years as a mechanic with Polycello Co. Ltd. Ralph was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Passamaquoddy Branch # 8 Surviving in addition to his wife Ruby are his 4 boys, Kenny McFarlane of Elmsville, NB, Jim (Leona) McFarlane of Browns Flat, NB, Bill (Barb) McFarlane of Kingston Peninsula, NB, Erick (Brenda) McFarlane of Browns Flat, NB, several grandchildren Ralph was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
