Obituary of Maureen Curran

CURRAN MAUREEN … At the Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrews, NB; on Friday, March 9th, 2018. Maureen Curran; daughter of the late Pauline (McAleenan) Curran, she was born in St. Stephen on June 23, 1956. . Maureen always enjoyed being around people, especially with her neighbouring residents at the lodge. She always took a special shine to the staff who cared for her over the past 6 years and they in turn loved her. Maureen enjoyed dressing up to the 9’s, by having her hair done up just right, her nails painted up and her jewelry not out of place. Maureen was a bright spirit that will be missed by those that loved her. Maureen is survived by her sisters Darlene Higgins of Dartmouth, NS, Kathy Morin of Valley Road, NB, 2 brothers Larry & John, both of St. Stephen, NB, nieces and nephews. Cremation took place. A memorial graveside service will take place at Bocabec Cemetery on Friday June 15th, 2018 at 1:00 pm Archdeacon John Matheson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations to the MS Association or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
