Obituary of Blayne T. Johnson
JOHNSON BLAYNE T. - Unexpectedly at his home in Chipman, NB; on Sunday, January 17, 2016, Blayne Terrance Johnson; born on July 10th, 1949 in Blacks Harbour, NB. He was the son of Arthur Johnson and June Trecarten Johnson of Rollingdam, NB. He graduated from Lawrence Station Regional School, then went to Hamilton, Ontario where he worked at Stelco, returning home after a couple of years, then joined the Canadian Armed Forces where he served for twenty years. He was posted in CFB Gagetown, Syria, (Golan Heights), Germany, Calgary and Moncton. Blayne is survived by his mother June McCullough, 2 brothers Lance and Mark Johnson, all of Saint John, NB, 2 sisters Heather Bridger of Porters Lake, NS and Mitzi Johnson of Saint John. He was predeceased by his father Arthur Johnson, and two brothers Dana and Kirby. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street St Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 … 466 … 3110) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Wayne Spires will officiate. The interment will take place in the spring at St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 11:30 am until service time.
