Obituary of Liz Marr

MARR ELIZABETH A. - Peacefully at Lincourt Manor in St. Stephen, NB on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018; Elizabeth “Liz” Anne Marr, born in Saint John, NB, May 4, 1942; she is the daughter of the late Esburn Charles & Georgia Gertrude (Redstone) Marr. Liz is survived by her sister Dellores Watson (Barry) of Lawrencetown, NS. She was “Aunt Liz” to Duane, Kathy, Brian, Peter and their families in NS. Family members in BC, ON, and NB will miss her. Her favorite things were Christmas lights, rocking chairs,coffee, music, hugs, and the colours pink and red. Family members wish to thank all whose care, love and comfort kept Liz content during her last hours. There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at Lincourt Manor on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at 10:30 am. Rev. Dan Jamer will officiate. This will be an opportunity for the residents and staff who knew and loved Liz to celebrate her memory in song and scripture. An interment of her ashes will take place at a later date in Gondola Point Baptist Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her father.
