Obituary of Ralph Lord

LORD - LAWRENCE “RALPH” … On April 1, 2018 Ralph left this earth surrounded by his daughters at the VG in Halifax, NS. Ralph was a great family man; his family was his life and he enjoyed spending time with each and everyone of them. He was born in Lubec, Maine on January 21st, 1935 and lived on Deer Island until he graduated high school. He attended vocational school and teachers college in Saint John, NB. He then married the love of his life Joan in 1955 and adopted 2 girls Tami and Pollyanna and raised his family on Campobello where he spent over 40 years of his life doing what he loved as a fisherman. He is survived by his daughters Pollyanna(Matt)Rodgers of Halifax,NS, Tami(Raymond) Brown of Campobello, his beloved grandchildren Alex and Megan and great grandchildren Brooklyn and Jacob, his wife Grace Patterson and step son Paul of Lower Sackville, NS, his brother Prescott Lord of Augusta Maine,several nieces and nephews, who he loved dearly. Predeceased by his wife Joan, his parents Moneda and Lawrence Lord and his sisters Hazel & Donna. Resting at St. Anns Anglican Church Welshpool,NB; from where the service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday April 6th, 2018 at 2:00 pm A reception will immediately follow in the church hall.
