Obituary of Marjorie C. Lank
Marjorie Clara Lank (nee: Calder) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on February 19, 2018 with her niece, Valerie and husband Peter Mabey by her side. She was born on November 8, 1926 on Campobello Island where she lived her whole life. She was a member of North Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, AWANA, as well as being the church secretary for many years. She is predeceased by her father, W. Colwell Calder; mother, Kathleen Calder (Thurber); husband, Burton Lank; sister, Velma Calder; and brothers, Clifford Calder, Clinton Calder, and Austin Calder. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Netznik of Moncton, NB, granddaughter, Angelina Netznik, of Saint John, NB, grandson, Tyler Netznik, of Campobello Island, NB, brother M. Wendell Calder(Joan) of Newport, ME, sisters-in-law, Vera Calder and Wilma Calder, and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held at North Road Baptist Church on Saturday, May 26th, 2018 at 2:00 pm. The interment will be held at the North Road Cemetery at that time. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12 o'clock noon until 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Road Baptist Church or Living Waters Bible Camp and Conference Center. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of the Campobello Lodge who took very good care of mom for the last four years.
