I was saddened to just learn of Mary's passing. She was a kind and generous person who was so welcoming of David and myself when we moved to NB. She was incredibly active in many different pursuits but I knew her through rug hooking and knitting. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be missed by so many. Sande Gunning

When Mary turned those blue eyes on you, with that impish grin, you knew it was time to stop the foolishness and get on with the job at hand. Mary was always looking out for those less fortunate than others. I will always be thankful for her friendship and kindness of welcoming me into the community of the Catholic Church and St Andrews.
She often spoke of her family while we sat knitting. My sincere condolences to all of you. Mary will be missed by all who had the privilege of working with her and those of us lucky enough to have called her Friend.

My deepest condolences to Mary's Family and freinds, I got to know her stellar work in establishing Kingsbrae Gardens Afghanistan tributes to our Nations Fallen each July 1st. Her initiative in our world class Kingsbrae gardens supported not only those familys who paid the ultimate price, but eased the path of tens of thousands who sacrificed and survived thier combat experience. Rest in Peace, We Will Never Forget!

Always enjoyed seeing and teasing Mary while we played cards or attended a family BBQ at Mike and Dan’s. I remember Floyd once sticking his wet finger in Mary’s ear or me stealing and eating the leftover potato salad (that she intended to take home - Barb ended up making Mary another batch); condolences to all the family.

My sincere sympathy to all of Mary’s family - you meant so much to her. I will really miss her - I feel privileged to have enjoyed her friendship throughout many years - we had many great road trips, enjoyed rug hooking, knitting, worked together at Kingsbrae, served on Garden Club & Open Door boards together. Her community was very important to her.

I knew Mary through the rug hooking group in St Andrews. We shared many great talks about knitting and rug hooking, always a new pattern or a new type of yarn! I appreciated Mary's friendship and her dedication to the group and to community. She will be greatly missed by all. Sending my condolences and prayers to the Family at this sad time.
